If you paid for a car, and had to give it back in twelve hours, would you say you own it? No, you’ve rented it. Whose property is it? Whoever rented it to you. If you had it for a couple of years, you might say you leased it, but it’s still not your property.

Now, if companies get a copyright and have to give it back in 95 years, or a patent and have to give it back in 20, could you really say they owned it?
